Saw the most vicious bear fight ever today between to giant boars over breeding rights to a sow, the bigger older bear lost and had a huge chunk ripped out it’s side, Saw a wolverine too walk up to a bear it stood up then the bear stood up and the wolverine ran off opposite…
Another absolutely gorgeous day in bear country. Group from Switzerland today, nice to have our international visitors back, bears put on a good show for them.
Pura Vida, had a group yesterday from Costa Rica out on a bear tour, the breeding season in full swing with a couple bears having some rough foreplay.
Bears diggin up a seafood lunch, beautiful day total of 6 bears, we got some spots open early next week to go see the bears.
The bears must’ve missed me over their long winter”s hibernation, this one walked over to say hello, good to see you again, and give our guests a photo op they will never forget, contact me to get on one of our amazing bear tours.
Back to the beach with the bears, saw 5 today, Nicole and her friend Savannah tagged along to play with the bears.

First trip was successful , saw 3 bears, 2 up high playing in the snow m, & 1 on the beach searching for clams, saw several whales feeding on hooligan, a lot of seals, and several species birds, lots of Puffins,how ever not as many shore birds as in years past, maybe more birds tomorrow.
Bears in Alaska can be quite interesting to watch as you see how they socialize with other bears, how they feed and how they carry out many other activities. It is definitely something you should do when you visit Alaska. The best time for a bear viewing charter in Alaska is from late May through…
